    Brandon Dudley, a Charlottesville native, is credited with igniting the city’s hip hop music scene. Brandon, widely known as LeeBangah within the music industry is considered a trailblazer for the self-starting hip hop artists of Charlottesville.

LeeBangah's incredible level of passion and drive for his work and music has landed him on the covers of Dark Magazine, The Underground Fix, The Trap and Media Made Magazine. He has been interviewed by multiple radio outlets including, 81.1FM, 98.9WINA ,101.3 Jamz, Power103jamz, 107.1WLJZ , Big Mouf Radio, The Konnected Radio and SoundTight Radio. LeeBangah is no stranger to the world of hip-hop and his work ethic along with his skills, is definetley an artist to watch for in 2021.



LeeBangah has performed many great shows throughout Charlottesville but he is not just an artist on the rise but an amazing and upcoming director. His notable accomplishments include performing for Showtime at the Apollo, and receiving a Young Film Director Award for his video work from the LA Film Festival. Bangah is forging ahead into larger venues and attracting broader audiences with his original lyrics and honed musical stylings. It would not be a Suprise if LeeBangah blew up in 2021, its only just a matter of time.

In 2019, His first EP, A Long Way Home was released and is available on all Music Platforms. 2020 even during the pandemic Leebangah has been able to tour and reach his fans through virtual performances. he has also done live interviews to let the people know what to look for in 2021 when he drops his New Project “No Love Lost”. 




Interview

1.Where are you from and how would you describe your city?

Im from Charlottesville, VA, a diverse city in the state of Virginia. Where we have multi talented artist from all genres from different styles of life.

2.Who has been your greatest support throughout your journey as an artist?

My greatest support throughout my career I have to say has been my Fiance. She has definitely played her part in my career through the ups, downs, scams, and etc. She's definitely a piece to my everyday hustle. My Manager "Kid Quest" my circle, and first and foremost GOD.

3. At what age did you know you wanted to be an artist and how did you get started in the first place?

At the age of eleven I knew I wanted to be a hiphop artist. I started writing to instrumentals from artist from my era. Listening to artist like 2pac, Biggie, N.O.R.E. and others.



4.In your opinion who is the most influential and successful artist in your genre and why?

Im in influenced by J.Cole. his artistic style and delivery is unique in its own, and it reminds me of myself.

5.So what are your current thoughts on the music industry?

The music industry can be a tough business, but its truly been a blessing toward me within my career. Staying true to yourself and what you're exactly doing it for, you'll never lose the passion of making people smile and dance off of my artistic talent and music.

6.How do you separate yourself from other artists?

  Staying consistent, and to have good marketing. Knowing what you are worth is the main key. Touring city to city to building a true fans base wile marketing my music and merchandise to the people.



7. How do you stay motivated and continue your music as an artist?

Always looking at the competition, seeing what the Fans like and want, Always being creative and thinking outside of the box! The sound of Hiphop changes yearly so you have to watch and listen to artist daily to stay Trending.

8.What aspect of the music-making process excites you most and what aspect discourages you the most?  

The feeling i get from recording the lyrics and the energy the beats give me excites me the most. Once I get into my creative mode, every song I make becomes a hit. What discourages me the most is when I have a good beat and I know I can go in on and have writers block. Writers block is a artist worst enemy if you write lyrics.

9. What was your inspiration behind your latest song " All on the line?"

When coming from the struggle, and you tired of seeing all your folks, and your homies suffering over this and that,  you gonna make things happen to come up right? Putting it all on the line means you may have to cut off things you thought you loved and cared so much for but in reality its not for you. Getting out there and busting on ass to get it, no sleep, conflict with my loved ones, missing my kids grow, because I'm touring days in days out to make it happen!



10.if you can describe your fans in one word what would it be and why?

LOYAL. Through the times I stopped writing music because of life, my fans that I do have, always talked about me becoming famous oneday and told me to never stop. Those words alone holds so much power to them and that why I say Loyal because they never turn on me even through my darkest times.

11.who would you like to work with in the future? 
 Mary J. Blidge, J.Cole, rowdy rich, lil, Durk, Rod Wave, man its so many talented artist of all genres in the game! Im humbled to whom ever God sets me up with in life

12. What advice would you give to upcoming artists who are trying to pursue their dreams?

You have to be Built for it, you have to be cut from a different cloth This career is not for the weak.

13. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Wealth having my family taken care of for generations to come.

14. What Albums, latest releases or singles are available to your fans and where can they be found?

Yes, "No Favors", Hot Boy" which both singles are available on all streaming platforms. Im also releasing my second EP tilted "No Love Lost" that will be available later this year.
